Canine Mastitis
Mammary gland infections will disrupt the otherwise happy, rhythmic flow of mother and puppy interactions during those critical first weeks of life. Minimally they interrupt nursing and require supplemental feeding, but they can also lead to the loss of mammary glands or even threaten the life of the bitch.
Dr. Shelby will explore mastitis in depth during this webinar, discussing how it happens, risk factors, early detection practices, treatment options, and possible outcomes.
