I would like to take a moment to say how much I appreciate Kokopelli for all you have done for my breeding program. In more detail, you were able to take me in the day I called to do a BC test on my male and a semen eval to make a breeding happen! We have been with Dr. Christensen at his prior location in Elk Grove since 2018. Dr. Christensen and his team have performed progesterone testing, giving us the ammunition we needed to get our girl ready and healthy for her litter. Performed TCI and gave us an accurate litter count with no surprises. Gave us the comfort we needed in case there were any complications and knew he would be there to help. We thank Dr. Christensen for all his knowledge and kindness during our time with him and his wonderful assistant Maryann.

Dr. Christensen performed semen testing prior to shipping fresh chilled, to make sure our boy had enough good swimmers (as he called them) and he did. He bred 8 wonderful healthy little pups. We are now in the process of setting up more appointments with Dr. Christensen at Kokopelli’s new location in Sacramento, CA.

I decided to go to Dr. Bruce Christensen after a recommendation from another veterinarian and everything went smoothly even through the Covid lockdown. Dr. Christensen and his staff are awesome. My two girls loved going to see them. They are very personable and willing to explain the process of the TCI. When it comes time to breed my girls again I will go see the Kokopelli staff.

We are so thankful to Doctors Christensen and Shelby and the staff at Kokopelli Assisted Reproductive Services for their expertise and excellent customer service. We’ve had multiple successful breedings and deliveries with their assistance. Their flexibility and ability to think outside of the box be there for their clients is much appreciated.

Having first met Dr. Christensen at his Breeder’s Conference in 2017 when he was at UC Davis Veterinary Teaching Hospital, I was most impressed with his knowledge of theriogenology and his practice philosophy with breeding, especially the support provided to breeders. As a long-time breeder of Bichons Frises, I trusted the diagnosis and care of my Grand Champion dam and sire producing two healthy litters of five each. As Dr. Christensen relocated Kokopelli Reproductive Services to Franklin Ranch, I followed him and trusted in his care with my next breeding pair, which also produced two litters of five each, both by necessary C-section. As Dr. Christensen continues his practice in Sacramento I have been pleased that a wider range of excellent services are being offered to breeders, especially health testing for OFA certification. Having referred many other breeders to Dr. Christensen who have been equally as pleased with his veterinary care, I look forward to many more years of successful breeding and welcoming healthy litters with the Kokopelli Team and Dr. Christensen’s expertise.
